Raiders of Arismyth

Raiders of Arismyth is a modern dungeoncrawl roleplaying game about heroes braving a dungeon and getting away with treasure, saving the world in the process.

Arismyth is the dark and dread goddess that was apparently killed by the armies of the Kari Empire, a thousand years ago. In her death throes, she made everything south of the Tarkher Mountain Range unreachable, blocked off by a giant and unsurpassable glacier.

Now, a thousand years later, the glacier is retreating, and we learn that the ancient evil is not as dead as we had hoped. The shards of Arismyth are scattered in hidden places all over the southern lands, and their influence is growing. Will you do something about it, or are you just in it for the riches?

This is a game about the fun of everyone getting excited to explore a dungeon mapped out in front of them on the table. This could be a simple paper map with impromptu tokens for the heroes and monsters, or intricate 3D modelled terrain with beautiful and custom miniatures for everyone and everything.

It is about the joy of moving things with your hands, and being able to look at how the opponents relate to each other in space, having tactical combat where positioning is important.

And it is about the joy of making these things. This game wants to inspire you to do that, regardless of budget and skill.

Last, but not least, it is also about the joy of planning out your characters progression, thinking about which things to learn next, and looking forward to the moment when your sorcerer can dispatch a Goblin with the blink of an eye only!
